The modular structure of the Kverneland DF-1 ensures even weight distribution across the machine arrangement, giving the tractor maximum balance. This improves both safety and manoeuvrability, whilst at the same time giving the driver an unrestricted view over the entire machine set-up.
The Kverneland DF-1 are more flexible than conventional seed drills. They can be used for both conventional and precision sowing. For precision sowing the front hopper is fitted with special metering devices and the appropriate distribution head for row fertilising.
The DF-1 hopper is fitted with mechanical drive and central metering device as standard. As an option, the DF-1 hopper can be equipped with the electric-driven metering device ELDOS.
|Working Width (m)||Hopper Capacity (litres)||Weight (kg)||No. of coulters with 12.5cm distance||No. of coulters with 15.0cm distance|
|DF-1 rigid||3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0||1150 (1700)||570 – 800||24 / 28 / 32||20 / 24 / 26|
|DF-1 fold||4.0 / 4.5||1150 (1700)||570 – 800|
As with the Kverneland DF-1, the modular mounted construction of the Kverneland DF-2 gives the tractor maximum balance.
The Kverneland DF-2 has front twin hoppers feeding two metering devices. These are driven via the spiked landwheel, which runs on the right side of the machine. Hydraulic fan drives and landwheel lifting are available as options.
The Kverneland DF-2 is the model for the application of seeds and fertiliser at the same time.
The handy positioning of all valves and electrics is clear and convenient, facilitating easy adjustment and maintenance.
|Working Width (m)||Hopper Capacity (litres)||Weight (kg)|

|DFC-2||3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0||Hopper divided in 60:40||750 – 1440|
